"My home goes by many names. Some call it the Lion City. Others say it is just a little red dot.
I call it Singkarpor. That's what Singapore's name sounds like in Hokkien.
The country is changing. But it will always be my home, a place that holds all the memories of the people and the streets* that I love.
This is my portrait of Singkarpor."
* On the cover: pieces of Singkarpor picked off its streets.
