8 Questions with Deepika Arwind
Deepika Arwind is a playwright, director and performer. She is the director of i am not here by The Lost Post Initiative, featured at the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be able to sing and play a musical instrument.
What is your most treasured possession?
Currently, my car. It helps me travel.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Knowing that it doesn't exist. A good yoga practice, a nice cup of coffee, good conversation, a nap... are all fleeting versions of it.
What is your motto?
I don't have one, but I do keep thinking about the fact that nothing is permanent and it keeps me grounded.
How would you like to die?
Without much fuss and pain. Gently, to music and a glass of wine.
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?
Possibly a wild cat or a tree. Something in nature essentially.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Waking up early. It all depends on your constitution and circadian rhythm.
What is your current state of mind?
Trying to be still.
