I’d love to be able to draw.

Definitely my fountain pen (but also my record player).

Listening to good music while reading an amazing book – with a tasty fresh cup of coffee to hand.

What is your motto?

I don’t really have one. But I do love the Japanese proverb 猿も木から落ちる (saru mo ki kara ochiru) which translates to: even a monkey falls from a tree (i.e. everyone makes mistakes)

Definitely painlessly and peacefully – probably in my sleep.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?

Now that I’ve written a book about a cat, I suppose everyone is expecting me to say ‘a cat’… but honestly… maybe a bird? It would be amazing to be able to fly.

Chastity.

What is your current state of mind?
