BOOKSTORE OPERATIONS (Part-Time)
To apply for this role, prior experience is mandatory.
Amongst other things, you will be required to run day-to-day operations (this includes providing good customer service and possessing good product knowledge, giving recommendations, opening, running, and closing the store independently, ensuring sufficient store supplies, receiving and maintaining stock levels, carrying (heavy!) boxes of books and maintaining order and cleanliness of the store), plan and execute events and external projects the bookstore is frequently involved in/organising, and other related duties and responsibilities.
Above all, you should be eloquent, vigilant, responsible, organized, and be able to juggle responsibilities while providing constant attention to your customers. You should also be familiar with BooksActually and our ethos and character as an independent bookstore, and yearn to further our growth. You should be able to work for a minimum of 12 months, and must be either Singaporean or PR.
